THERAPY: what if you have no secrets?
You are not hopeless at all. Decades ago, some psychologists thought that a patient would feel better if in therapy you had a big realization about your past, but that idea has been largely discredited. In fact, many therapists today think that it's often not very important for you to know what caused your mental difficulties. For example, you don't need to find out if your are troubles exist because dad was mean or mom didn't pay attention or whatever. Whether you're clear about your past or not, you can still be treated. So don't worry :)
