Having problems with my motorola blur from t.mobile ..Any one smart with phones?

My friend is trying to send me some photos and some of them came out ok and then most of them came out showing the photo and half gray so i cant seee really nothing why is this and is there any way i can fix the pics or somthing i dont know please help thanks
