Why are the thoughts of Sigmund Freud useful to sociologists. Please help!?

freud was radical in the way that he used sexuality in his work.he challenged the idea that sexuality is something that you are born with. everything isn't purely constructed by society, individuals are also important. society and individuals are mutually constitutive. therefore its important for sociologists to not completely ignore the work of psychologists.
